After completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance at Virginia Tech in 1983 Cline Hall entered the insurance industry with Allstate insurance as a claims adjuster in the Raleigh, North Carolina Market Claims Office. In 1986 Cline moved to Greenville to be a Bodily Injury Claims Specialist.

In 1989 Cline was promoted into management with Allstate and held positions in Claims, Underwriting, Controllers Department, Operations, and Sales. After seeing the entire spectrum of the insurance industry Cline decided to settle down in Greenville and founded the Cline Hall Agency in January of 1993 representing Allstate insurance.

Cline chose to leave his association with Allstate in the fall of 1999 as he felt strongly that his clients would be better served with the opportunity to purchase their insurance from an array of companies rather than being restricted to one company. As an independent agent Cline is able to represent you, the customer, rather than the insurance company.

On a personal note, Cline is married to his high school sweetheart Vickie and they have two daughters. Cline is also active in his church.
